Sunset Peak is the second highest peak in Lantau Island, with a height of 869 meters. Because of the silver grass in Sunset Peak, Sunset Peak is one of the most popular hiking trail in Hong Kong.

Get off at Nam Shan Camp Site
Enter via the wooden archway of Lantau Trail and follow the sign to Pak Kung Au

The “stone sheds” (Lantau Mountain Camp)

If you want to visit the summit of Sunset Peak, it needs to leave Lautau Trail a while, no official path to the summit provided, you can access the summit by different small paths, the photos above is the most popular one to access the summit, if you start at Nam Shan, after going through most of the “stone sheds”, you can see that small paths to the summit on the right hand side
