Yuen Yau Shan (also known as Ling To Shan) is located in western New Territories, with a height of 375 meters. Similar to the adjacent Castle Peak, the route is loose rock surface, high elevation and lack of shelter, but the difficulty of Yuen Tau Shan is even higher than Castle Peak, the completion of hiking Castle Peak and Yuen Tau Shan together is one of the “Qualification” route of advance hiking in Hong Kong, it is suggested to walk accompanied by experienced leaders.
