Elevation (reference only)
Tai Tun is located in the north of Tsam Chuk Wan in Sai Kung, with a height of 317 meters. At summit on Tai Tun, it has a panorama views of Tsam Chuk Wan with islands are scattered around, this “Thousand Island Sea” view is one of best spectaculars in Hong Kong hiking. However, there is no official hiking trail for Tai Tun, it has to walk the rugged paths with steep inclination. The route of Tai Tun is quite short, for the advance hikers, it can consider to extend the trail to Lui Ta Shek.
Get off at Pak Tam Chung, the entrance of Tai Tun is at the end of parking lot in the right side in the photo
