Kau To Shan is located at western of Sha Tin, with a height of 399 meters. In 1970s, the Kau To Shan mountains was used as the source of sand for the construction of the Sha Tin Racecourse, Kau To Shan has become a luxury residential area afterward till now.

There are panorama views of Tolo Harbour on the summit of Kau To Shan, even no official hiking trail to the summit of Kau To Shan, the condition of the hiking paths are not bad, and it will be concrete road and official hiking trail in the second half of the route, the overall difficulty is medium.

Get off at Ma Lok Path (nearby Greenery Villas Phase 2), the minibus will make a u-turn afterward

Move toward Yellow Walk of Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve

Turn right at this fork

At the fork of Yellow Walk and Brown Walk, you may try the Yellow Walk to Luk Shan (optional)
or keep descending to the end point Tsung Tsai Yuen directly

Change to the rugged path on right side and follow the ribbon to Luk Shan

Back track to the fork of Yellow Walk and Brown Walk after visiting the trigonometrical station of Luk Shan
