Pat Heung Fire Lookout and Tin Fu Tsai Fire Lookout are not included in the official hiking trail, but their locations are very close to the Maclehose Trail (Stage Nine), you can visit the fire lookouts while you are planning to walk Maclehose Trail (Stage Nine) .

Bus / Mini Bus gets off at Chuen Lung
If you take the bus from Tsuen Wan, walk back to Tsuen Wan’s direction first

The entrance of the hiking trail beside the lamppost FA5573

Follow the wayside of Pak Shek Kiu first

Then walk to way of Tai Lam Chung Reservoir

Meets the Maclehose Trail (Stage Nine) and walk to Tai Lam Chung Reservoir

Turn right to Tin Fu Tsai

When you see the sign of “Fire Lookout”, walk into the path on the right side to Pat Heung Fire Lookout

Pat Heung Fire Lookout, with the a height of 559 meters

Back track to the Maclehose Trail afterward

Keep walking to Tai Lam Chung Reservoir

At this fork, turn right to the Tin Fu Tsai Fire Lookout

Tin Fu Tsai Fire Lookout, it also the summit of Tin Fu Tsai Shan, with the a height of 461 meters, but the fire lookout cannot be accessed

Back track to the Maclehose Trail and walk to Tai Lam Chung Reservoir again

As Sham Tseng will be the destination in this blog, move to Tsing Fai Tong
