Mount Gough is located in the east of The Peak, with a height of 479 meters, it is named for Hugh Gough, 1st Viscount Gough, Commander-in-Chief of British Forces in China. In fact, there is no any hiking trails for Mount Gough, only concrete service roads for the residents nearby, and most of the area of Mount Gough have been developed to private properties. Mount Gough can be regraded as an optional extension for the trail of The Peak.
Start at Hong Kong Park
Walk to the Peak Tram Station
Walk along the Tramway Path, it is also the Central Green Trail
Follow the waysign of the Central Green Trail
It can see the rail of the Peak Tram Station along the Tramway Path
Move to Hospital Path at the Victoria House of Barker Road
At Severn Road, walk to the inclined path on the right side in the photo
Keep walking ahead at Plantation Road
