由西貢市巴士總站乘94號或假日及公眾假期由鑽石山巴士總站乘96R號往黃石碼頭巴士或由西貢市巴士總站乘7號往海下專線小巴，在北潭涌巴士站下車。從北潭涌出發，沿麥理浩徑第一段，經萬宜路往萬宜水庫前行，步行約45分鐘便可抵上窰郊遊徑接萬宜路出口（近萬宜水庫之西壩副壩），遊人此時便依照路標指示轉入上窰郊遊徑，步行約15分鐘，便可抵達營地。
From Sai Kung Bus Terminal take Bus 94, or Bus 96R at Diamond Hill MTR Bus Terminal on Sundays and statutory holidays. Set off from Pak Tam Chung where the first stage of MacLehose Trail begins. Trace the carriageway Man Yee Road towards High Island Reservoir. In 45 minutes, you may see a junction of Sheung Yiu Country Trail and Man Yee Road on your right-hand side (on a secondary dam before West Dam). Turn into the country trail and walk 15 minutes to reach the campsite.
