Cloudy Hill is located in the north of Tai Po, with a height of 440 meters. The ascent of Cloudy Hill is one the most famous “Heaven Staircase” in Hong Kong, it needs to climb very steep slope to attain the summit. It offers panoramic views of Tai Po on the top of the mountain, the views of Ping Fung Shan and Sha Lo Tung of the trail are fantastic also.

Alight at Exit B of Tai Wo MTR Station, and follow the waysign to King Law Ka Shuk

Walk toward the public toilet at Tai Po Tau Drive

Then walk along the Wilson Trail to Cloudy Hill

It will be a 3 km ascent to Cloudy Hill

There are 5 pavilions on the way to take rest

Hong Lok Yuen

Trigonometrical station with a height of 288 meters
Keep walking upward to Cloudy Hill

Tai Po and Ma On Shan

Tai To Yan

Walk to the right side of this wooden board to the trigonometrical station of Cloudy Hill

The Summit of Cloudy Hill, with a height of 440 meters

At this fork, turn right to Lau Shui Heung
It will turn left to Sha Lo Tung in this blog

The view of Ping Fung Shan is very nice

At this fork, turn left to the Fung Yuen
It is suggested that to visit Sha Lo Tung Village first

Sha Lo Tung Village, get back to Fung Yuen afterward

Follow the waysign to Fung Yuen

Come to an end at the bus stop of Mont Vert
