Muk Yue Shan is located in Lantau Island, next to the Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha, with a height of 479 meters, a grave of bhikṣunī (female monastic in Buddhism) is built nearby the summit. Even Muk Yue Shan is very close to tourist spots of Tian Tan Buddha and Wisdom Path, Muk Yue Shan is not crowned and peaceful.
Get off the bus at Ngong Ping, walk back toward the bus stop direction
Cross the Po Ngong Drive
The entry of the trail is opposite to the Ngong Ping Sewage Treatment Works
Walk along the concrete road of Ngong Ping Fun Walk
Turn left at the first fork to a Buddhism grave
Back track after visiting the Buddhism grave
Turn right at this fork to Muk Yue Shan
A grave of bhikṣunī is built nearby the summit of Muk Yue Shan
A small path to the summit at right side of the grave, the path will get ascents a few meters, but note that the path is unpaved and slippery with dense grass, only suitable for experienced hikers
No landscape on the summit of Muk Yue Shan
But it has a grand view to Shek Pik Reservoir on the summit
As the paths to other places are faith, it is highly recommended back track to return the grave of bhikṣunī

Follow the waysign to Wisdom Path
