Kau Nga Ling (Dog Teeth Range) is located in southern of Lantau Peak, with a height of 539 meters. When viewed from Lantau Peak, the name comes from the mountains look like the dog teeth. There are three major ridges of Kau Nga Ling, West Kau Nga Ling, Middle Kau Nga Ling and East Kau Nga Ling, the Middle Kau Nga Ling is easier then the others. Kau Nga Ling is one of the most dangerous hiking trails in Hong Kong, highly recommend to walk accompanied by experienced leader.
Get off at Shek Pik Police Station bus stop
Walk to the way (right side) of South Lantau Road
Shek Pik Reservoir Water Tower
Turn left to Tong Fuk Catchment
Cross the bridge, it comes to Shek Pik Country Trail
At this fork, the path on right side with a warning sign is the entrance of Middle Kau Nga Ling
No shade after leaving Shek Pik Country Trail
